The corner joints are glued, then reinforced with walnut or cherry splines. We offer our recipe card boxes in two sizes; one to fit 3" X 5" index cards and the other to fit 4" X 6" index cards. The beetles carry blue stain fungus which interrupts the tree’s water flow and reduces the tree’s defense mechanisms. So, all of our beetle kill pine boxes are very different and unique in color and grain patterns.
